  • Often needs to reread material
  • Retains parts of what is heard or read
  • Difficulty synthesizing parts into whole
  • Oral directions are only partially understood
  • Misses social cues
  • Difficulty sequencing ideas
  • Vocabulary below grade level
  • Critical thinking skills weak
  • Math skills uneven: computation okay, but story problems difficult
